1. About Blessing Our Women, Inc.

Blessing Our Women, Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving women, girls, survivors, families, and communities through empowerment, education, mentorship, advocacy, support, resources, personal development, and community-based initiatives. Information provided on this website is intended to help visitors learn about BOW, access available resources, explore programs and services, participate in events, get involved, and support the organization's mission.

2. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful, personal, informational, charitable, and other legitimate purposes consistent with BOW's mission and these Terms. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access to website systems or information, impersonate another person, submit knowingly false or fraudulent information, use the website to harass or harm others, or use BOW's website or content for unlawful purposes. BOW reserves the right to restrict access to website features when reasonably necessary to protect the organization, its participants, users, systems, or operations.

3. Information Is Not Professional Advice

Educational & Informational Purposes

Information provided through BOW's website, resources, articles, workshops, educational materials, social-media content, or general communications is provided for educational, informational, empowerment, and resource purposes. Unless expressly identified otherwise, BOW website content does not constitute medical advice, mental-health treatment, psychotherapy, legal advice or representation, financial advice, substance-use treatment, emergency intervention, or professional diagnosis. Visitors should consult appropriately qualified professionals when professional advice or treatment is needed.

4. BOW Is Not an Emergency Service

If You Are in Immediate Danger, Call 911.

BOW's website, email, contact forms, social-media accounts, program applications, and general support requests are not emergency-response or crisis-monitoring systems. Submitting a form or sending a message does not guarantee an immediate response. Individuals seeking immediate domestic violence assistance, emergency shelter, crisis intervention, or safety-planning assistance should contact appropriate emergency or specialized service providers.

5. Domestic Violence & Survivor Resources

BOW may provide educational information, survivor support, advocacy, resource navigation, referrals, or links to organizations that provide specialized services. BOW cannot guarantee the availability, eligibility requirements, response times, services, safety, quality, or outcomes of an independent third-party provider. Providing information about an outside organization does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of that organization. Individuals should determine whether an outside resource is appropriate for their particular circumstances.

6. Programs & Services

Information regarding BOW programs and services is provided for general informational purposes and may change as programming, capacity, funding, schedules, staffing, eligibility requirements, or community needs change. BOW may establish requirements concerning eligibility, enrollment, applications, attendance, conduct, documentation, payment, caregiver authorization, safety, participation, capacity, or completion for individual programs and services. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. BOW may approve, deny, waitlist, defer, or otherwise determine participation according to applicable program requirements, organizational capacity, and established procedures.

7. PURPLE Girls & Youth Programs

Participation in PURPLE Girls Junior, PURPLE Girls Senior, or other youth programming may require completion of applicable enrollment documents, caregiver permissions, releases, agreements, emergency information, program expectations, and other required documentation. BOW may establish additional requirements to support appropriate youth-program operations and participant protection. Participation in a youth program does not create a custodial, clinical, therapeutic, or legal relationship beyond the scope expressly established by the applicable program.

8. Mentorship

PURPLE Mentors and other approved mentors serve within BOW's established mentorship and youth-development structure. Mentors are not substitutes for parents or caregivers, therapists, attorneys, medical professionals, teachers, case managers, or other licensed professionals. BOW may establish screening, background-check, reference, training, conduct, communication, safety, documentation, and boundary requirements for mentors. Applying to become a mentor does not guarantee approval or placement. BOW reserves the right to determine whether a prospective or current mentor is appropriate for a mentorship role consistent with applicable policies and program requirements.

9. H.E.R. Circles & Survivor Support

H.E.R. Circles provide survivor-centered opportunities for support, education, reflection, connection, and empowerment. H.E.R. Circles are not psychotherapy or clinical mental-health treatment unless BOW specifically identifies a service as being provided by an appropriately licensed professional. Participants may be asked to respect the privacy of others. However, BOW cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality outside a group setting. Additional participation guidelines may apply.

10. Coaching & Educational Services

BOW may provide coaching, personal-development, educational, or instructional services, including qualifying domestic violence education, anger management education, alcohol and substance abuse education, life coaching, business coaching, and other approved services. Unless specifically stated otherwise, these services are educational or coaching services and are not substitutes for licensed medical, mental-health, legal, or substance-use treatment services. Completion certificates or documentation, when offered, reflect participation or completion according to BOW requirements.

11. Events & Registrations

Event registration, attendance, ticket purchases, and participation may be subject to applicable event-specific terms, cancellation and refund policies, capacity limits, conduct requirements, safety procedures, photography and media policies, and other requirements established for the event. BOW may modify, postpone, cancel, or change event details when necessary. Refund and cancellation terms, when applicable, will be communicated through the applicable registration process.

12. Donations

Donations to Blessing Our Women, Inc. support the organization's programs, services, operations, and mission. Donations are generally nonrefundable except as required by applicable law or BOW's established donation policies. Donors should retain their own records for tax purposes. BOW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding the deductibility of their contributions.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, BOW's original website content, program names, written materials, graphics, logos, educational resources, program materials, designs, photographs, videos, branding, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Blessing Our Women, Inc. and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Website access does not transfer ownership rights. BOW materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, modified, distributed, or used commercially without appropriate authorization, except as permitted by law.

14. Use of BOW's Name & Logo

Supporting BOW Does Not Automatically Authorize Use of Our Brand.

BOW's name, logo, program branding, event branding, and other identifying materials may not be used in a manner that falsely suggests BOW's sponsorship, endorsement, approval, affiliation, or partnership. Sponsors, vendors, volunteers, community partners, fundraisers, and other third parties must follow applicable authorization and brand-use requirements.

15. User-Submitted Content

If you voluntarily submit a testimonial, story, photograph, video, artwork, written material, or other content for possible public use, BOW may require a separate consent, media release, storytelling authorization, or other agreement before publishing identifiable content. Simply submitting a support request or participating in BOW does not grant BOW permission to publicly use your personal story.

16. Privacy

Use of this website is also subject to BOW's Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, shared, and protected. Additional privacy, confidentiality, records, safe-contact, or consent provisions may apply to specific BOW programs and services.

17. No Guarantee of Results

BOW is committed to providing meaningful programs, services, resources, education, mentorship, and opportunities. However, individual experiences and outcomes vary. BOW does not guarantee specific personal, educational, financial, employment, relationship, legal, therapeutic, business, or other outcomes from participating in a program, service, event, coaching relationship, mentorship experience, workshop, or other BOW activity.

18. Website Availability & Accuracy

BOW works to provide useful and accurate website information, but information may occasionally become outdated, incomplete, unavailable, or contain errors. Program schedules, eligibility criteria, fees, events, resources, personnel, opportunities, and other information may change. BOW may update, correct, remove, or modify website content when appropriate. For decisions involving enrollment, payment, eligibility, deadlines, or participation, visitors should rely on the current information provided through the applicable official BOW process.

BOW seeks to make its website and information accessible to the communities it serves. Individuals who experience difficulty accessing website information or who need information in an alternative format may contact BOW.
